We're an open club at this time but we do have a hard cap on the amount of members that can work fluidly with each other. All members must be over 25 years old, have health care and be responsible adults. Please fill out the membership form completely.
Our Safety & Operations class equips you with the essential knowledge to handle woodworking tools confidently and responsibly. Learn proper techniques, tool maintenance, and safety protocols to ensure every project is completed with precision and care. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this class is the foundation for safe and effective craftsmanship.
To continue membership you'll need to work in a space well with others. Similar to working in an office, at a co-working space or at a gym you need to leave the space as or better than you found it. Most people will have no problem but if you do not respect the space or your fellow members you can be asked to leave.
All new memberships are month to month at this time. After you've been a member for a few months you can elect to pay for longer periods with a discount.
Are the machines hard to use?
Woodworking machines are used everyday by carpenters, artisans and hobbyists. They take time to learn but everyone can operate them in a safe and efficient manner with a little of training.
When is the shop open?
For members the shop is open all the time. If you're taking a class please show up 10 minutes early to pick out your safety gear and meet your classmates.
Are the classes included with membership?
All members must take a safety and operations class in the first month of their membership regardless of experience. All other classes are at will but members do get discounts.
What can I make at the shop?
You can take a guided class with one of our instructors which you'll come away with a nice project or if you're a member you can make whatever you want.
How do I get in to the building?
Each member will be given a security key to get into the shop. All students will be given instructions before class starts.
