It’s very important to set the speed of the drill bit correctly. Too much speed and the wood piece may fly off, too little speed and you’ll never make any progress.
Add clamps to make sure that all wood pieces will stay stable and not buckle under the pressure of a bit rotating 1,000s of times a minute.
