SAFETY

NEVER put hands or fingers at the back of the board! As you move wood stock over the table the blades will be exposed!
ALWAYS use orange paddles. Wood may crack underneath downward pressure and expose cutter head.

Alignment

Only the infield table (the right side of the jointer) needs to adjusted for the cut. Fence can be moved to accommodate wider boards. All adjustments must be done with machine unplugged.

DO NOT ADJUST:

  • Outfeed table – the left side of the table, marked to not adjust
  • Blades on the spindle

Technique

Stand in front of work. Move stock through machine with equal pressure. Move with stock through machine to distribute pressure evenly.
